TP-Link Omada SG2210XMP-M2 8-Port 2.5G PoE+ L2+ Managed Switch – 2×10G SFP+, 160W PoE
Description
The SG2210XMP-M2 is an Omada multi-gigabit managed switch designed for Wi-Fi 6/7 access points, workstations, NAS/server connections, surveillance and other business networking deployments. It combines eight 2.5GbE PoE+ copper ports with two 10Gbps SFP+ uplinks, L2+ management features and Omada centralized management.
Key Features
- 8 × 2.5Gbps RJ45 PoE+ ports
- 2 × 10Gbps SFP+ slots
- 160 W total PoE budget
- Up to 30 W PoE output per port
- IEEE 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+
- 80 Gbps switching capacity
- 59.52 Mpps packet forwarding rate
- 16K MAC address table
- 12 Mbit packet buffer
- 9 KB Jumbo Frames
- Static Routing
- Omada centralized cloud management
- Standalone management
- Fanless operation
- Desktop and wall mounting; TP-Link's current V1.20 datasheet also lists rack mounting.
2.5 Gigabit PoE+ Connectivity
All eight RJ45 ports support 100/1000/2500 Mbps Ethernet, allowing a single Ethernet cable to carry both data and power to compatible PoE devices. TP-Link specifically positions these ports for multi-gig devices such as Wi-Fi 6/7 access points, while they can also connect 2.5GbE NAS/servers, workstations and network adapters.
PoE Specifications
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| PoE Ports | 8 |
| PoE Standard | IEEE 802.3af/at |
| Maximum per Port | Up to 30 W |
| Total PoE Budget | 160 W |
The 160 W figure is the switch's total PoE power budget, rather than 160 W being available from each individual port.
10 Gigabit SFP+ Uplinks
The switch includes 2 × 10G SFP+ slots, providing high-bandwidth fiber/uplink connectivity for applications such as connecting to a core switch, server or NAS and building a multi-gigabit network without restricting the eight 2.5GbE access ports.

L2 / L2+ Network Features
The switch supports business networking capabilities including static IPv4/IPv6 routing, DHCP Server, DHCP Relay, DHCP L2 Relay, Static ARP and Proxy ARP. QoS capabilities include 802.1p CoS/DSCP priority, eight priority queues, SP/WRR scheduling, bandwidth control and storm control.
Omada Management
The SG2210XMP-M2 supports centralized Omada management through the web or Omada app, while also supporting standalone management. This makes it suitable for integration into an existing Omada network as well as independent deployment.
Fanless Design
A notable hardware feature is its fanless cooling design, intended to provide quiet operation without an internal cooling fan.
